He was walking through the metal detector behind me and Jaimee.  I nudged her "it's John Motson", "yeh right!", "no really".

Said "good morning John" to him and he responded with a very assertive "morning!"

Either he was in a rush, or i scared him, cos he scarpered down the hall quickly to the departure lounges.

A fine moment in history - can only have been outdone by meeting Des.

strange enough i DO get stopped by customs/airport police/metal detectors/gate staff ect ect every time i leave this country but never have any trouble comming back to the uk  :blush:
