In these testing times I just wanted to remind you that the RP forums are still operational if you want a virtual hangout of sorts which is limited to this group of old (and strong) friends.
If you want to get involved (and I think it would be nice if we did), and are having trouble accessing (maybe your email has changed and you can't remember your password - it's been quite a while after all!), please let me know via text or email or any other means, and I'll sort you out. I know it's not the ideal platform for mobile use which I imagine is the vastly prevailing method people use this newfangled interwebs nowadays (bloody kids), and it's not as convenient as mashing a 'like' button, but I believe it has a place in the world just as it always did - and hopefully I'll see you here soon. All the best, James. -------------------- "We are number one, all others are number two or lower!" - The Sphinx, Mystery Men

I'm hoping by jogging peoples memory we'll get more into the habit of using it (especially now that there's potentially more 'free time' swimming around), lets see...

All the best, James. ...Well I am very old (and strong) {pfff} Good to hear from you!! Can't believe you're not spending every waking hour creating the mobile app version of RP... disappointing James, disappointing. #Bringbackpornalikes -------------------- We don't torture... we freedom tickle.

Hey Cam! How you doing - still on the wrong side of the planet? ;-) Ha! From where I'm sitting, it's the right side of the planet. Our numbers are a lot better than the UK, and the island nation thing seems to be protecting us well. Saying that, Government departments are net setup to support remote working effectively. Normally I commute to Canberra for the week's work, but these days I'm stuck in Brisbane... ...with the family, which I'm loving! Oh, and #Bringbackpornalikes! -------------------- |

Can't believe you're not spending every waking hour creating the mobile app version of RP... disappointing James, disappointing. I know right - no-one is more disappointed in me than I am! Ha! From where I'm sitting, it's the right side of the planet. You only think that because of the headrush you are getting from being upside down all the time. In all seriousness - good to hear from you both! Three people posting on RP in one day - not sure the server will stand the strain I'm all for #Bringbackpornalikes - need to get Mike T on the case as he was the primary source for all the pornalikes back in the day... -------------------- "We are number one, all others are number two or lower!" - The Sphinx, Mystery Men

Thinking of all of you as I hear about the UK's latest lockdown.
Also thinking of gloating as Australia has single digit known cases. Victoria was our worst state for infection, and they have come out of lockdown recently and are today celebrating their fourth day in a row of zero community cases. I hope that provides some kind of comfort that lockdown is worth it. I know that doesn't make it any easier. Stay Safe (and stay home)! -------------------- |

Thanks Cam - and for what it's worth I think you're quite ok to gloat - we collectively only have ourselves to blame unfortunately...
Hope you & yours are all well! -------------------- "We are number one, all others are number two or lower!" - The Sphinx, Mystery Men
