Played BF2 on PC - enjoyed it. Only played COD on Xbox - prefer PC interface (mouse and keyboard).

Haven't played an BF but the demo's they have shown look freakin awesome! But also Love MW & MW2 so very much looking forward to number 3. There's only one thing for it - double game awesomeness!

BF2 was awesome, some of the staged videos online still crack me up. However when I moved to Aus, the number of online gamers was so poor, I gave up.
Oh yeah, combine this with ping hacking from the USA (leading to a large number of lagging games with whining pre-pubescent seppos) and Australia's general poor connectivity with the rest of the world... More likely to be neither than both for me. -------------------- May you live as long as you want to...

Ah now I'm not at all interested in online play so not an issue to me - I like these kind of games for the missions. Not that I keep up with such things but I've seen some grumblings around the web about the BF3 beta...

Ok having got both and with the caveat that I only play the campaigns/solo play (don't play online) and I'm on Xbox - I can say that MW3 beats the living crap out of BF3. The models, rendering, texturing, sound, movement and gameplay are lightyears ahead in COD.
