It seems I may be travelling down to Portsmouth next weekend to watch Russ's Wing-chun grading.  Hopefully this will help me appreciate this pastime a little more and I am actually looking forward to watching someone beat Russ up and get away with it!  I think we should all wish Russ-boy good luck and I'll give you an "outsiders view" when I get back.... :sneaky:

yeah, Matt and i did alright, but i'm not yet good enough to star in films, dammit.  Neil didn't come along cos his car was shagged, so if u want a purely independent view, ask Jaimee, as she was watching from afar listening to all the comments made by other students looking in on the grading.

What does it mean?  It means that we have now completed 5 out of the 9 gradings on the path to black sash.  It's taken 2 years, but there will be longer spaces between gradings now.  Sometimes i feel i've barely started, but it's all good.
