I booked in yesterday and I have found a hotel just down the road that only costs £15 for a room they say will sleep three adults + one child on the sofa, the Travel Lodge. Can I be the child on the sofa? In a very unwierd way. Hi Twiglet, you can be the child on my sofa anytime you like ;-) But seriously I am sharing the room with Polo to cut the costs and if you want to join us for the night you are welcome, then it will only be £5 each for the night. You can ring me on 07973112104 if you want. Regards Alex Oh and it looks like the team lineup has changed, by the looks of it we will now be playing for the "Anubis" team, so adjust your clothing accordingly. |

Lol, thanks alex - as appealing as sharing a room with polo sounds I'm actually sorted with a place to stay now! Thanks anyway!
See you all there Can't wait! Hugs Sarah xxx Also, what is this 'Anubis' you speak of? What will we have to dress as? -------------------- More than just a sticky, salty snack.

You don't have to dress up, as you will be given a teeshirt on the day to denote your team, I am just going by what is on the walkonzone forums, but it looks like the scenario has changed from last year and the Ringer Patrol / Olly team has actually been assigned as "Anubis", so there would be no point in dressing up as NID as there is no NID team this year. I think the website we booked via on the USPSF site was just left over from last year and they only recently finished the senario plot for this year.
Further details are available in this thread on WOZ http://walkonzone.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=9427 Regards Alex |

I am going to pick Polo up on Saturday morning and drive straignt up, Multimap says it will take about three and a half hours to do the trip. The trouble with driving up Friday night is that the beers will be warm by Saturday ;-)

Here is an Anubis for those of you too lazy to Google it http://www.gate.net/~rgp/model/subpics/anubis.jpg Those are the traditional SGC enemies, but I think if there is an "Anubis" team we must all be "Anubis Warriors" AKA "Kull Warriors" the ones dressed in black nearly invincible body armour and laser beams built into the armour There is a picture here http://www.gateworld.net/sg1/graphics/711_05.jpg and a Wiki page here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kull_Warrior Basically we are scripted to be the hardest fighters on the field, so we have alot to live up to. So that means that if Twiglet was to dress up in a tight fitting black rubber cat suit, that would just be playing along with the script of the senario. It is a thought. Woo hoo - I'm booked in!!
Now all I need is a gun... anyone willing to let me play with their pride and joy? I'm part of the Ringer team, so it means dressing up, but as what? Can someone tell me exactly what I need as I only have one day off work to get this all sorted out!! Thanks Jx -------------------- Wrong Shui
