Remember the days when we used to go to milleniums, arrive, walk the fields and then go drinking, drink some more, wake up feeling jaded, play 'ball, then repeat? Generally having a good laugh for the weekend with yor mates abusing your bodies and each other?

Well, I mentioned it to a few people late last year, and there was some good interest in doing it again, just a couple of events like Malaga and Toulouse. The conditions I ask are:

1) You have the ability to drive if needed.

2) You are financially solvent and able to buy your round.

3) You do not refer to your team mates as 'blood' or use the words 'shizzle'/'for rizzle'

4) McDonalds does not qualify as an evening meal after play

5) You are not obsessed about how fast you fire your marker

6) It's strictly for laughs so there might be a bit of training before we leave, but only so we at least know each others names.

7) You have the ability to turn up with kit that works.

8) you have no objections to playing the first game of the day 'slightly' hungover.

That should just about cover it!

The rset can be a total mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

Word of warning - I heard Malaga is now Madrid and Toulouse is now some other French city - but can't remember where.

Toulouse is now Marseille :)

And Rory, is there anyone left after that list of necessities?!?! Lol. I would invest in my own kit and come along if I hadn't already committed to working them (probably a good thing me not playing for your team!!). You can count me in for the drinking the nights before though.

".....5) You are not obsessed about how fast you fire your marker...."

This comes from the guy who continually shows off his prowess at shooting an Inferno at break-neck speeds!!!

After all is said and done...the "good old days" were just that.

May I recommend that you get Alvaro to book the rooms.....

He was always good at that. unsure.gif

Ok so far I have spoken to Simon pulford, Scutty, Mark Toye, who have all shown some interest in having some larfs doing this, looks like tha average age of this team is going to be ridiculously high?!!!

What about you HRH, wanna show those Euros your new hair do?

Neil, u still OK to do this even if u are doing the Trauma thing?

7) You have the ability to turn up with kit that works.

Think this would have technically ruled me out in the past. Having said that, it may be reasonable to assume that now I own my own paintball company there would be a chance I could muster enough bits and bobs to turn up with a half decent kit bag. If you get serious about booking one up I might well be in on it.

won't it be a little embarrasing get shot up by someone half my shoe size whilst they shout "shizzle 'dat upside yo 'ead ma' brizzle'?

Wih the additon of the new 5 man format for 'local' teams, we could do this! OK will firm up the commited and sort out dates, etc. Must admit, looking forward to this!

Well, you might say that, but with the posibilities of a squad ranging from Tango (no offence, just on mill playing experience!) to Toye boy on a roster that will swing like and PMT mood change in terms of ability and numbers, would be a useful idea if we are short rostered!
