I just wanted to be the first to say congratulations to the Ringer team for their performance at STB this weekend. I had a great time watching the Ringer machine roll into action and reign its atomic death cloud over all that stood in the way.......or something.
Thanks to the CP guys for letting a rusty old git with failing gun skillz come a blow off some dust. Had a great time. Looking forward to many more events (with possibly less rain) to come in the following months / years. Matt -------------------- |

We managed fourth in our division; won four, lost three (but one was a moral victory and would have been an actual one if I'd not gotten cocky playing the snake). The team consisted of Russ (usual fine killing and snake techniques), Mike (nuff said ), myself (pimpin/stressin/fallin over) and Steph and Sparklie- both playing for the first time in several years which didn't stop them mopping up and winning our last game after the boys had all been shot out showing off. One thing that was a bit sad was to see more cheating even at this goober level, with some wiping etc in a couple of games that seems a bit tragic when playing division E .
We didn't let it get us down though, and even smiled through the constant drizzle/rain/shitting it down, guns breaking and Steph getting something in her eye Overall a great weekend and congrats to the whole team for playing hard and still keeping a sense of fun. Roll on next year! This post has been edited by Doctor: Aug 15 2005, 12:25 PM -------------------- "Think neither of victory nor of yourself, but only of eating a really big pie."

Doc,
I do beleive that last photo was taken shortly before you were reminded that the back right standup did indeed still have the same player in there that was shooting at you previously, and no, he hadnt forgotten about you, or aimlessly walked off the field, rather was waiting to provide you with capital repayment for handing their previous "G" her arse on a plate? Correct me if Im wrong ;) -------------------- |

I think you are right - and I also think that said player was still in his back standup when Russ bravely mugged the guy on the other tape - in fact i know he didn't move from the back standup all game. At all. Even when there was only one opposition player on the field, on the other side to him and lying in a fooking massive complex. Wow.
