Ok guys, with a crap big game that a lot of us had to miss I don't know about you chaps but I need more action. Steve Bull has confirmed that we can put a squad in so I need to know who's up for it- definites only please as I can't afford to have lots of people drop out at the last minute.
The event is a 15- man tourney on the 29th May at Wakefield, with 30-minute games played on big fields and there will be 8-10 teams competing. We should be able to camp on the Sat night and then go and get some old-school action on the Sunday, with extra points for using mech/pump/pistol style markers. Team entry is £500, which works out as £35 each for 15 of us or £25 if we can field 20 players. Come on guys, get in if you can as this is going to be a lot of fun and very much our sort of thing. I will be getting in touch with players in Norfolk etc to bulk up the squad, but the more the merrier (and cheaper) so anyone of any level of experience is very welcome. I also need a couple of volunteers to act as bullet catchers This post has been edited by Doctor: May 4 2005, 11:45 AM -------------------- "Think neither of victory nor of yourself, but only of eating a really big pie."

No worries mate- I've got 3-5 from Norfolk already and there's spare players around on the day- I'd just like to see some original Ringas out representin' in the woods.
Neil- I'm sure we can manage some fisticuffs with me around, for a non-violent chap I do seem to have a bit of a thug magnet -------------------- "Think neither of victory nor of yourself, but only of eating a really big pie."

So just me, Neil and Alco then? I'm a sad panda
I just confirmed Bonich, Ray Cain, Marcus Davies and Bart will be there- if you know who they are you'll know why I'm excited. This post has been edited by Doctor: May 11 2005, 09:21 AM -------------------- "Think neither of victory nor of yourself, but only of eating a really big pie."

There is a good pub 5 mins drive, 15 mins walk from the site and it does good food - Post Office - it is at Junction 38 but head in the Barnsley direction instead of the site direction off the motorway.
See you on Saturday afternoon and I have two more players for the "party team" Steve QUOTE(Doctor @ May 23 2005, 06:02 PM) Ok, the hour is nigh- time to get organised The info about the event can be found here, the plan is to head up on Sat, camp out and then play on Sunday.
