Joey - I bow to your superior knowledge of my field.† Unfortunately I can only go by what is written on the team's shirts as I rarely look at the schedule, people can deduce knowing which teams are playing as biased.† As we all know, loads of teams swap players for before events, and sometimes during, and know one ever really knows who is supposed to be playing with who

Neil, I just wanted to set the record straight, because the players of the former RED HEAD NOVICE (the team is now split) are getting harrassed and also getting nasty pms and phonecalls over this act of stupidity by LEE BURTON and LEE BURTON ONLY. . .

. . Really great nice people like Turtle (Neil Mochan) PLAYED for Red Heat and are being subjected to the mob mentality. . . .

. . . Its not fair on your part to paint Neil with the same brush as Lee . . . .

It was my job to know who was where and who played for who - thats why I know that, your job was to marshal. . . and you did that job better than anyone. . . I don't mean to come across as a snot - I just feel for people like Neil Mochan. . . .

Ok, the thread is closed and I feel a genuine contender for the funniest of all time. I'd like to thank all the people who made this possible- God, my brother Jez, our mummy the players of Red Heat for shooting themselves in the foot over and over and finally Lee for kicking the whole thing off. I'm not sure what we'll have to show you next year, so watch this space.

I wouldn't read any further as I am now going to let off some steam that I don't want to post on p8- I feel further discussion there is useless. Having read the latest thread "Red Heat Persecution", I feel glad we all got a laugh out of it as nothing else has been achieved; no one has learned anything and as far as RH is concerned they were entirely in the right. Still no apology, Lee is a saint and I'm to blame for having provoked him. Nice

Having just skimmed the persecution thread I can see why at least one of the other Heaters didn't try to stop their captain - apparently he "had my kitbag on my back and a box of paint in my hands" - why didn't he say so before! If only there had been a way - can't think what - something like PUTTING THEM DOWN maybe. Tard.

If it was Impact ( and I don't beleive it was ) then i stand corrected, but at the time, first day, I had EVIL PIGS as judges. Hence why i seemed to be judging the field on my own. Unfortunately CAMPAIGN had not yet attended to save me from certain death by the hands of the most laid back judging team in the world. I know the scenario seemed to replay itself a couple of times over the weekend, and you were standing next to me for one of them.

Oh, and by the way, nice timing to insinuate i have a lax memory. Lets just hope i'm a lot sharper when i'm judging your team on Sunday at Reading.....

Olly - it made great reading. Thank goodness you are of good humour and quick wit which has worked a treat, better than squaring up to this tw@, or worse still - calling the old bill

I only wish I'd been there. The thread has been officially finished on P8, but unfortunately people hold grudges with things like this and I would not want to be you when you come up against him in future games. The rest of his team may be absolutely fine, but you can bet there will be a few bonus balls in the air...so to speak.

I'm starting to miss the paintball scene already...

I did hear the guy concerned is now bleating about retiring- what a twat when all he had to do was say "sorry" like he had some balls. I just hope he doesn't do a big announcment on p8 as he will be roasted all to pieces.
I just feel no one really learned anything and was a bit sad to see people posting that seem to think threats are ok as long as no punches etc were thrown- I think I'm in the wrong sport
I'm not really worried about extra love- I don't play enough comps for it to matter and if I stub my toe at any events in the future people will know who to blame I just hope the rest of the team let it rest and don't try any silly shit- if they think this has been harsh they should see what happens when I get really pissed off
