Haha, got it yesterday and it's jokes, real good fun....
Thing is, I play it about as well as I play the real thing Give me a couple of years and I might have actually finished it -------------------- More than just a sticky, salty snack.

Tango and I have been playing it on Xbox Live and it's loads of fun. We were playing a 2 on 2 with a pair of Yanks who seem to take it all in their stride and didn't bitch and moan when we shot them. One of them was playing from the Bahamas. You'd think there'd be more to do in a tropical paradise than shoot people online, but each to their own. I tried to discern where the other guy was from with this series of trick questions:
Meat: So where are you from? Yank: United States. Meat: Cool! What part? Yank: America. -------------------- |

I borrowed this game from Mikey and have been playing in a bit this week.
When I first saw it at Janette's, I thought it looked great and had some nice touches. It looked like paintball which, lets face it, the other paintball games just didn't! At first play it is fairly easy to pick up and play (somewhat badly). I played a few tounaments and lost in most of the games. I slowly got better and started winning a few with the use of tactics as apossed to the general running around I had been trying. I am from the 'Old School' Counter Strike days when I just grabbed my handy weapon of choice and blasted things as I ran at full speed. You can't do that on this game!! I will be honest it started to bore me slightly. I then introduced my (used once or twice) paintball brain and started using angles, timed moves, snap shooting etc and would you believe it I started cleaning up. I was winnning and that brings cash which brings new guns and kit - I started winning more (only because now I could shoot in a straight line once in a while). This game has now become quite addictive and I would recommend it to anyone that has played paintball and hates rain (James). I would guess that if you have never played paintball then you would soon give up as you would have no desire to continue getting shot after 30 seconds of starting each round. All in all a great game but there are a couple of annoying little things I would like to see fixed if they ever try again: You have no control (Tactics) over your team - you can be pinned down at the front and the rest of your team will carry on painting the other corner rendering you useless. It would be nice to have a button to get them to push up or hold back etc. A little explanation as to how the new shiny kit that is available will help you shoot more people - Like I said I am not a hardcore paintball player and I have no idea why a 300 point air tank will help me?!?!?! Nor will Joe Public! Marks out of ten is hard 8/10 if you have played paintball before 4/10 if your haven't I'm spent -------------------- Of course I'm arrogant...The best always are!

theres a cheat for you nutters.
"If you have Greg Hastings go to "My Character" hold down Left on the pad and press Y, this will switch your character to the Pro of your choice. I'm playing as Keely with a Dm5. You can be any of the pros in the game. You keep what ability points you have and earn them as you would normally, the only thing that changes is your characters appearance and their equipment." found it on another site. |

Damn, missed that post completely.
I was though, and I saw you. I borrrowed it off Polo, and it rocks! The only issue I have with it is that I am not as good on the Xbox as I am on the field and I hate that. I have pulled off some massive back door and mugging sprees, but its just not CONSISTENT! I have tried holding back and not being so gung-ho, but i find that just means you get left last man in, three on one, and that sucks. -------------------- Captain of Basic, and possibly the loudest man on the planet. Yeah. I'm really looking forward to the marshall-in-a-trench-coat feature.
