So, the Ringer contingent was as strong as ever - we danced the night away, we shot lots of fools and we won the day!
I'm not sure what else to say... except... Two words: Sarge dancing PS - after a five hour return journey - I vote either getting a mini bus to share the driving, or get some rooms and chill out after the weekend/lie about how many people we shot/get tanked up etc, and return the following day!! -------------------- Wrong Shui

Fantastic weekend, if you were not there you missed out, shame on you...
The highest point was the players party, Sarge dancing, the Ringer Patrol support chorus and Bird getting felt up by what immediately became the most scared man on camp as he was surrounded by a large group of drunk men saying "did you touch my bird...?" I have many photos, and even a video of sarge doing YMCA, I'll speak to the technical genius (James) and see if we can post 'em up. The drive back was a bit of a nightmare, well up for a hotel after so we can all get clean and re-live the event in the bar next year. If you did not manage to be there, please try and make it next year, this was by far the biggest Ringer Patrol showing at a big game but there are still some original Ringers missing from the all-star line up. Janette, you are excused but i don't want any pathetic whining about "pregnancy" next year, alright.....? -------------------- "You do not have to say anything, but anything you do say will be taken down in pencil and changed at a later date to best prove my case."

An excelent weekend, ringers rock
It was a great weekend the weather was a bit hot, but much alcohol made up for it, just a couple of moans, not enough toilets, too many hills and why didn't we cut a hole in the fence instead of having to climb over a sty in the dark when we are drunk, not good. All in all briliant, it was good to see a lot of new faces turn up the one's who didnt shame on you. The next big game i will definately be staying there another day and also look into the possibilty of hiring a mini-bus. Again thanks to everyone who turned up, too many names to mention thank you. -------------------- Ouch. Who said it doesn't hurt......

what did I do now??? - it wasn't me - it was somebody who looks like me bird -- see all ok now.
graet fun guys, thanks for forcing me to go and sleep on the side of a mountain in the lumpiest field I've ever seen but apart from that, great fun. ps. can somebody tell me what was going on as I still don't have a clue. I just went out into the woods with some very strange people and shot them - what we had to do on the day or how we won anything is still a mystery. -------------------- the third most famous belgian ever

Quality weekend. Good friends, great weather and some excellent paintball made for the ultimate Ringer Patrol experience. Everyone who was there played, partied and drank their hearts out. Teamwork on and off the field was faultless and I hope our newest recruits felt welcome. Thanks to everyone who made it. Sarah and Naomi...you suck.

ps. can somebody tell me what was going on as I still don't have a clue. I just went out into the woods with some very strange people and shot them - what we had to do on the day or how we won anything is still a mystery. The first one that me and Russ went to was dead easy, it was red v blue and we knew exactly who was who, but from the second year onwards I haven't had the foggiest who to shoot. Thank goodness we had armbands this year... There were so many people switching sides on the last couple of Kenny's that it kinda spoilt it for me, but this year's was awesome. I will defo book the time off next year once the dates are confirmed. -------------------- Wrong Shui

Hey guys (and girls),
Was great to meet everyone, we all had a blast. We'll definitely be up for the next one just a shame it's a whole year away! Just about got rid of all the aches. Not sure if they were caused by too much running about, or just sleeping on that bloody hill. I know Marie has a few photo's from Saturday night, including a few of Sarge dancing, the panda's and a few of Guppy and Brian doing the fire poi/staff. So I'll post up a link as soon as we have them online. Andy |

There are some good write-ups on P8 about this event.
Oh, and Sarge - it looks like folks have been photoshopping your dancing. Can't wait to see the outcome... -------------------- Wrong Shui
