No worries Steve. I've got a spare 2-man tent you can use.

Well, we won! The human faction trounced the Goa'uld soundly, helped by the fact that said parasitic super beings cannot tell the time and sent their bomb through the Staargate 15 minutes late. The site was awesome with some varied terrain that broke up the typical big game skirmish line. Thanks to Olly, Russ, Steve, Jeremy, David, Warren and Rob for keeping the NID at the forefront of the battle. Thanks to Jeff, again, for the fine paint and thanks to Matt and Jamie of slothball.com for carrying it up. The Sloth boys looked busy all weekend selling quality gear to our friends in the north. Apologies to all for my sickly condition during the event, I seem to have picked up an ailment that just wants to evacuate seeping yellow liquid from every orifice. ewwww.

I'd like to thank the Slothball'ers for the excellent ( and cheap!) paint.
Great stuff, flew perfectly through the Apex, got any number of long range kills. Thanks also to Meat for shooting me in the back just as I was about to pull the glory boy bunkering of the day ;) I had blast and I'm sore in places I didn't even know I had places. Sorry I didn't stay for prizegivings or to say 'bye to you lot, the lift man wanted to make an early start. Hope to see you all at the next one! |

Another quality big game. Had a lot of fun, and didn't think there was as much longballing from the teams as previous games. Still got p'd off with it at one point though.
Plenty of top quality representation by the Ringers, once again. Steve mate, your powers are strong. That was a seriously good effort making it up for the game after working the cup. Puts everyone else to shame. Kneel before Zod! Mikey, I'm worried about you bate. Every orrifice? |

QUOTE(Darkwerks @ Sep 20 2005, 07:07 AM) Thanks also to Meat for shooting me in the back just as I was about to pull the glory boy bunkering of the day ;) Ah Mikey - I miss ya!! Good to see you haven't lost your skills! I'm glad it was a good'un. I'm just gutted the flamin thing was moved from October. What was that all about? How can they have a Kenny's without me? Hopefully next year will be a more suitable date other than my birthday... -------------------- Wrong Shui

Damn Sounds like I missed a good 1.
Holidays in sunnier climes were booked with the hope that the game would be in early/mid october as usual. Seychelles is hot and there's lots of pretty women so meat would love it. No paintball though as it'd be way too hot after you step on field you'd strip or cook. Mikey you're better off cooking as if you show your arse you'd end up in jail. Why is it that the game we win I'm in a different country halfway round the planet. Am I a bad luck charm? (inferiority complex rising) |

Apologies to all for not being to make it, but was stuck for transport and I couldn't justify £100 in petrol for a days paintball.
Hope you all had a good time though, sounds like you did. -------------------- Main Entry: in?spec?tor a : a police officer who is in charge of usually several
