how much surrounds me that is purely bullshit...

I was in my local tonight... Karaoke night...


Amazing how much dignity is lost through such experiences... but gained as you sing a song well...

People turn and think... "he/she is actually quite good"

but yet it still takes quite a few drinks before you even consider presenting yourself infront of all those familar faces... the regulars in our regular...

but it is fun... and many a time have I had fun in a karaoke room... with close workmates...

but there is something distinctly different about singing in front of the complete strangers you drink with nearly all the time.. and the people who you work with who are completely pissed...

Those who have gone up and sang I salute you... for you are the bravest of all human-kind... the kind who does not care if you are judged... the kind who will do things because it feels right, ignoring the social implications...

Carry on.. 'We need people like you'
