Nicknames, Why do you have the name? Options

Saw this elsewhere and thought it was a good idea.

Why do you have the nicknames you have and what are they?

I'll start things off:

Wingnut:-
The name was given to me by either Jim or Niall from Campaign Paintball site because I needed a nickname for marshaling. †The only thing they could think of was I had slightly large ears and so resembled a wingnut.
From then on it just kinda stuck. †I now use it for Counterstrike - [Ringer Patrol] Wingnut.

Like i said the truth is irrelevant when it comes to nicknames.

If ben gets pissed off because of the potential nickname i'd give to anyone called laura then thats of his own making and not mine, see the bit of the post that says "If I knew you (and I dont)"

Some people have a sense of humour and know themselves well enough to not give a shit and others well... dont.

the point was that 9 / 10 you dont get to choose your nickname and that they are rarely names to be proud of.  This doesn't include all the snookums and other equally bucket wrenching terms partners will give to one another.

If your really that concerned about ben's feelings, just ban me from the forums as i am very unlikely to change my ways or give a shit.

Doesn't alter the fact that ben's vision is twisted due to the pedastal he has laura standing on, irrespective of whether she is/isnt fit.  His opinion will be biased due to the fact he is having a relationship with her.

I'm tired of overly sensitive people ruining perfectly good examples - so i'll be off.

Cant say as i'm jealous - just misunderstood 90% of the time.
