She looks sad, a tear run downs her cheek,
how can so few words inflict so much pain. The words hit her soul like a barrage of hate, my mouth the evil conjourer of such dialogue. Her eyes rise up to meet mine in a stunned stare, the disbelief raging through her bloodshot eyes. Words and sentances race through your mind, desperately searching for something warm to say. But how can anything you say be warming to her, nothing will after you have told her that its over. You say that its for the best, that it will be ok in the end... but all she can say is "I still love you..." -------------------- I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person!
