Ok, so we've done Lord of the Rings several times now and it's time to move on. †For those who enjoy the whole rap scene, go and see '8 Mile'. †It is a v.cool film, good soundtrack (if you like the 'homies from the west side' type of music), and besides, you get to see Eminem's butt and he is so fit

Just saw it. Not a huge fan of Eminem myself, but the rapping in the movie seemed far more inventive than the stuff on his albums. The characters seemed real enough and I think it takes a brave person to make a film on his life against such a gritty, miserable background. The ending, if it was one, was neat. No fanfare, no trips to Hollywood, he proves his worth and simply goes back to work. Kim Basinger would still get it btw.
