As mentioned in another post the menu system which selects what options you want enabled is a bit fickle (or to put it bluntly it doesn't work) for some reason it doesn't record changes accross map changes - so the Statsme Chicken Plugin was activating - and this causes the losing team to be chickens for the next round.
