After returning from Durham on monday afternoon, i received my t-shirt and number. †I am to raise money for charity (bate) for Leukaemia Research and cycle 16.9 miles (a doddle). 2 things... 1. Can u guys sponser me just a couple of quid each please, it will be going to a good cause. 2. †Can someone lend me a bike, or it'll be like King Arthur in the Holy Grail where he uses acoustic devices to make up for his lack of transport. 3. †Carl sold me the idea based on 'it's a bit of a pub crawl', so can someone come to the finish line to photo the 'end result'. †It's gonna b messy. ok, make that 5 things

BUT I don't want young Russ being able to drink away my dosh when I can be doing exactly the same thing instead of giving it to him. A few bruises were merely a good incentive to think....'Well I guess he's done it for a good cause, I guess he's suffered on the way (being forced to drink beer - which of course Russ wouldn't do by choice) and I guess he also suffered cos he has the bruises to prove it'.
