Recently acquired 'The Fast and The Furious' on import DVD. Although the 'undercover cop in moral dilemma' story has been done before in Point Break and the far superior No Mans Land with Charlie Sheen and DB Sweeney this was well presented, very slick and 'phat'. It was one hour and 47 minutes of high octane illegal street racing, MAC 10 drive-bys and intense product placement. We all agreed however, that the highlight of the film was the house party scene where two fit birds were seen snogging each other.
What more could you want from a film? God bless Hollywood... -------------------- |

russ-boy gives Lord of the Rings a thumbs up, so the world can breath a sigh of relief. Much classier than ye olde Harry Potter, much darker.
Anyone else checked it out? |

saw 'Mean Machine' the other day. Very good - loads of the Lock Stock actors in it. Was a shame that the boom kept appearing periodically at the top of the screen - made it look a bit amateurish.
The rough game played by the prisoners vs the guards at the end of the film was basically like watching Wimbledon play. |

Jaimee saw 'Behind Enemy lines' last week and said it wuz cool right up to the last bit when they started to put on the good 'ol American sentimental Mc-cheese. Guess there's gonna b quite a lot of cheese coming up in order to restore morale since Sep 11th.
Still, i hear 'Swordfish' should be out soon. Go Halle! Go on Pascal! |
