As some of you know in June this year I will be heading off to Kathmandu finding myself a Rickshaw (which are now banned in Nepal) and in what may well be the last stupid thing I get a chance to do in my life, driving it accross a couple of thousand miles of the Indian sub continent, in hopes of making it to Pondicherry in southen India.

With three wheels and half a horse power, most scooters put these Tuk Tuk rickshaws to shame with there roadworthy prowess. The humble Rickshaw is undoubtedly the ultimate long distance, off road machine, despite being designed for short distances on road. Well itís actually a death-trap more suited for sharpening pencils but where would the fun be in driving something that would definitely make it...

All this will be in Aid of two awesome charities, Mercy Corp India, and FRANK water projects. Both of whom do some outstanding work in India, improving the lives of local people in rural communities who are struggling with poverty, with high rates of unemployment, illiteracy, alcoholism, poor health conditions (including severe problems related to water and sanitation and nutrition), and gender inequality. More infromation on them can be found here

This is, as im sure you've guessed is where you come in...

My initial target for donations is a measly £1000, but with your help Im hoping to smash that to itty bitty pieces...

Seeing as theres a fair chance Im not going to make it back alive I am hoping you will all see fit to donate generously :) which you can do so simply by clicking here, DONATE!

Corporate sponsers are also more than welcome if you want your logo on the Rickshaw I'll be more than happy to put it on there :)

More info on the Rickshaw madness can be found here

Please! donate as generously as you can afford to, Karma will repay you and I will like you a little bit more ;)

Thank you!

Jamie
