[U]i found this on the walk-on zone forum
This is what you have been waiting for The UKPSF Scenario Game 2005 will be on 17-18 September and will be at Powerplay Paintball near Wakefield. Staargate 2005 is being brought to you by the UKPSF in conjunction with Gillie and Andy Hatton and Powerplay Paintball. I think most players had anticipated this announcement so no surprise there Within the next 24 hours there will be a page on the www.ukpsf.com web site detailing where, when etc.... Entry fee is £40 per player and will include souvenir patch (first 350 to book) T shirt, BBQ on Saturday, H-pac air and CO2., camping if required. There will also be contact numbers for 8 local hotels (within 15mins of the site). Camping and parking is on the field next to the site. There will be games on Saturday and a party, talent show, silly games and lots more on the Saturday. We have also arranged some official suppliers for patches and other items that might be useful. There will be at least five trade stands and we have already secured prizes totaling £500 for the hourly draw and spot prizes courtesy of Atmosphere paintball. New for 2005 you can book and pay for the event online so no need to send cheques, this will be live in the next 2 days. Confirmations and passes will be sent out from the end of the month. The first 350 to book will receive a souvenir patch designed specifically for this event. The basic details of the scenario will be published by Gillie, but if you want to be a character you MUST contact Gillie direct to ensure you are written into the scenario script. gillie@pbuk.biz This is one game not to miss so start booking your days off work, hotels and passes. Steve Hammond of the safe area. Further details will be published on these forums and on www.ukpsf.com PS I do apologise to all players who have booked time off work and hotels based on the October dates, I do hope you can rearrange your arrangements and time off. -------------------- Ouch. Who said it doesn't hurt......

Ive just visited ukpsf and all relevent info for the game is there, but whos going.
are we gonna go in force as we did at star wars because if we are because of the distance to the game would it not be a good idea to hire a mini-bus for transportation because i dont know about the rest of you but driving all the way back from junction 38 of the M1 after a day of running around does not sound like a good idea at least if we have a mini-bus some of us can take turns driving.... what do you think? -------------------- Ouch. Excellent work, Dave. I want every Ringer on this one. EVERYONE! Let's invade Wakefield on a wave of olive chevrons. We can make a bloody good weekend of this. Bully's events have always been top-notch and after the massive let-down that was NvS we deserve a good'un. There are a couple of Ringers that have been failing in their duties as paintball overlords with really feeble excuses like 'workloads', 'mortgages' or 'babies' (or rabies in Quakers case). For one weekend, just forget the real world and get back in the woods. Welford, Walker, Simpkins, Newbery (both of you), Chimonas. I'm calling you out!

Damn right, Mr "I can't make the woodland 'cause I'm training"- no more crap excuses .
I've just booked online- dead easy and it's paid for now so I can relax. The campsite this year is a huge open field with a beautiful view over the valley (only slightly spoiled by the M1 ) and the site itself is great with lots of hills and valleys to keep us all in shape. So get in! Book online here with Card or PayPal. That's the Weasel booked in.
Now then, does anyone have a decent gun I could borrow, I have my E-Rex, but it is a bit unreliable and would prefer something that works for the event, failing that, I shall have to take a catapult Also, is anyone doing paint at a good price (apart from on the site on the day) Ta, Me. -------------------- Main Entry: in?spec?tor a : a police officer who is in charge of usually several
precincts and ranks below a superintendent or deputy superintendent b : a person appointed to oversee a polling place Main Entry: 1wea?sel or plural weasel : any of various small slender active carnivorous mammals (genus Mustela of the family Mustelidae, the weasel family) that are able to prey on animals (as rabbits) larger than themselves, are mostly reddish brown with white or yellowish underparts, and in northern forms turn white in winter. |

I have a Game Face Vexxor Eye for sale- a blowback semi with a nice electronic trigger and break beam eyes, angled foregrip, reg, clamping feedneck and a decent stock barrel, all anodised in a black/silver fade- only £90 and a steal at that price. If not then let me know in advance and may have something to lend.

Cheers Oli, not really looking to buy another gun at this stage, but thanks for the offer anyway.
Might take you up on a lend though. -------------------- Main Entry: in?spec?tor a : a police officer who is in charge of usually several

How easy would it be for me and Dave to just turn up and play? The reason i ask is that it is the weekend after the Campaign Cup. We will have only just finished the clear up of the cup on the friday and am usually dead on my feet by this point and may not have the energy for a weekend of paintball!
I would love to make it if i could, it would give me an excuse to take my camper van for a run and could even go straight up there from the clear up in Birmingham. I just dont want to buy a ticket and pre order paint if im going to be too tired to play! -------------------- salad and chilli sauce?

Preliminary Intelligence.... 16:06:2005....
STAARGATE:: EARTHWAR September 2005 ìÖspies report that the manuscript is genuineÖ the legendary Staff of KennyíRa is even older than the AncientsÖ rumours are that it is still on EarthÖ whoever gains control of this weapon will be untouchableÖ end transmission.î In a precarious alliance, Goaíuld System Lords Hathor, Apophis, Yu, Baíal and Cronus arrive on Earth to seize control of the long lost Staff of KennyíRa. The Human forces combine, bringing together the SGC, the NID, the Russians, the Tokíra and the Tollan in an uneasy truce to defend humanity against the threat of the parasitic Goaíuld. With Anubis all out to control the Staargate and grasp power for himself and an army of Replicators on their way to eradicate all life on Earth, who will be victorious? Staargate Earthwar 2005, Wakefield, Yorkshire! Tauíri SGC:: Colonel Jack OíNeill (tba) khaki NID:: Colonel Harry Maybourne (Olly Bell and Ringer Patrol) navy blue Russians:: Colonel Chekov (Al Murray and the SPC) dark green Tokíra:: Jacob Carter (tba) burgundy Tollan:: Narim (tba) purple Goaíuld Hathor:: (Guppy with DB, JonBon and crew) gold Apophis:: (tba) orange Yu:: (tba) light green Baíal:: (Jim Frensham and the Warped Mercenaries) light blue Cronus:: (tba) sand Also starring Jose Dominguez and the mad Sunderland crew as Anubis and his super soldiers So there you have it- we will be playing as the N.I.D. (Nerds In Denial?)- apparently they are a government special forces/sppoks type bunch and wear black fatigues etc so costumes should be pretty simple (Emily gets of lightly this year!) More info on the N.I.D. can be found at this site and as soon as I can organise some pics/screengrabs we'll get them up here. -------------------- "Think neither of victory nor of yourself, but only of eating a really big pie."

BLEEP! I had to book my holiday back in march and I thought that Kennys 5/staargate would be early to mid october like every other year It's not fair I get to miss the best run big game of the year the 1 u always look forward to .
Guess I'll have to soothe my angst by playing tag with some Tiger sharks or Demolition derby with giant tortoises. Anyone know if seychelles has ever heard of paintball? I'd lay good odds if a marker made the journey with me I'd end up in jail b4 I got off the plane. Any1 know whats happening with blings this year? PS weasel I can lend u the angel once I replace the detent |

D'oh, sorry to hear you can't make it Polo, I know how irritating it is when you book holiday then dates get changed
Cheers for the Angel offer, I shall take you up on that -------------------- Main Entry: in?spec?tor a : a police officer who is in charge of usually several
