Revenge! Revenge on all those sneering, talented bastards that laughed at my feeble attempts at model painting all those years ago at the Games Workshop store in Oxford Street. Dawn of War brings table-top wargaming to your PC desktop without the need for felt cloths or dice. I've been playing the demo all week and the game launches this Friday (the 24th). It plays and looks great with fantastic detail. Let's get a couple of Ringers online for this one and twat some geeks!

i've been playing this since saturday, it's very good.

It's quite true to the style of play in the table top games, it's got incredible detail, right down to being able to 'paint' your own color schemes on squads.

I never thought i'd enjoy playing it as much as C&C generals, but i can honestly say i really do enjoy this more.

If anyone wants an online game, just give me a shout...

Anyone up for a game this Sunday? I really enjoy playing as the Space Marine army. The Eldar force seems to be an aquired taste with many specialised units that are quite inflexible. What's your favourite army?

I'll probably be on at some time tomorrow. My copy only arrived this morning and I've only played the tutorials for Space Marines and Chaos so far.

Still up for a game if you're around. let me know when and where.

Despite swearing I would never turn to the Dark Side, I have put this awesome game on my PC. unsure.gif Once I get used to this mouse business there will be a dreadful slaughter, rivers of blood etc. This game is what used to be happening in my head whilst I was moving my little men around the table all those years ago. See you in the middle! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I found it responds well to several acres of mines and bolter turrets followed by all my guys at once. Squiggoth steaks for tea tonight!
