Scary, good-looking, slow as f*ck (on my comp at least )
I finally got round to downloading the alpha yesterday (silly ATI) and it looks really good - dynamic lighting + shadows especially. A frame rate on average of 3-10 is what i got, with practically everything turned off at 800x600. But when its released + optimised, it will be bloody fantastic - a pinkydemon broke through the wall and scared the hell out of me! Oh and Carmack himself said that when Doom III gets released, there will be very few/no setups that will be able to run the game at max everything, so wait a while before upgrading -------------------- Macho Macho Man, I've got to be, a Macho Man

On the subject of upgrading, a Geforce FX 5200 (bout the performance from a Radeon 9500 i reckon) for £88 from here
